During my program of study at this University I went through an intense period of personal growth and development. Comparing my present self with whom I was in high school I can see a great difference. First, I have matured mentally and psychologically. I have gained the ability to approach situations from various angles and find optimal solutions to them. Most importantly I learnt that in life there are and must not be any problems, merely challenges, for which there are always solutions.

The academic staff at the university taught various problem solving approaches ranging from critical situations behavior to more balanced analytic thinking approaches. The constant analysis of written work and the high level of quality demanded ameliorated my writing abilities to an unrecognizable extent which used to be poor. Due to my own efforts and the experience retained from the professors at University I have become able to express my opinions and arguments in writing as well as I could verbally.

I have also become much more confident when working on solo projects. In high school I felt comfortable only when working in groups, while my performance on self projects was usually less satisfactory. At the University I learnt to trust myself and rely on my skills more. I retained my ability as group presenter and speaker, yet acquired the very much needed leadership skill, which I previously lacked. As a result I have gained personally and become a much more valuable asset when working in teams.

During my program of study I had chosen ___________________ and _________________ as general courses and ________________________ and ________________ as my core courses. In my opinion these subjects balanced each other well and provided the possibility to grasp the subject matter of my chosen sphere of study comprehensibly and in full.

The general course on ______________ had a particularly beneficial effect on my academic level, as it developed my analytical thinking skills and broadened my perception and view of the world. Both of the core courses I took provided me with an in-depth study of the chosen subject area and helped me narrow my choice of future employment and career development
